Back after a long time....

Hello Everyone!

Its been a long time since posted anything. All this while I was logging in, browsing through all my favorite blogs and leaving.
I was traveling a lot and was busy with work and all....And was not in a mood to post anything....

Well my job took me to both Chennai and Bangalore for last few months. On weekends, me and my friends explored both the places as much as possible.... One regret is that we booked package tours to Mysore but had to cancel because of the Cauvery river issue which was driving everyone crazy in Karnataka. Well we are again planning a trip to Mysore in December.
Trips to Mahabalipuram (Mammalapuram) and Bannarghatta Safari were amazing.... I will be posting pictures of both soon.
I am busy with some studies now. This year (after a long thinking and tinkering) I had joined for MCA (Master of Computer Application) with SM University. Soon I found out that I had completely lost touch with the college days. As mounts of assignments lay before me, I found out that speed of my writing had gone down considerably during the years. Is it a challenge to pursue a masters degree in your 30's?  Day and night, I wrote and completed my assignments. Then the exam for this semester is starting on Sunday. So busy studying for that. But I promise that I will be back with some really good posts after the exams.
I have loads of pictures to share from my trips, some book reviews and completed stitching projects.And its RAINING here......Beautiful rain.......

I have some really interesting projects lined up. And since my next travel is in December, I am planning to complete some of them.....

Busy Weekend...

Well, I couldn't post anything in the last week and I had a very busy weekend also. Was busy stitching a new dress and finishing off some work which should be done before I leave for Chennai this week. Well, I have been allocated two more batches in Chennai (Tamilnadu), so I am leaving behind my beautiful green Kerala this week. I had finished a wool pouch for my friend. I will be posting it soon.

I am planning to start one of  Margeret Sherry's Feline cross stitch pattern during my trip to Chennai. Bought the floss for the design.

A very quick purse...

Hi All,

I just want to share some photos of the purse I had made yesterday.

I had some scrap cloth left after stitching a salwar and I didn't want to throw it away. So made a purse out of it. This so easy, it didnt even took me 15 mins to stitch this purse. And the result is gorgeous.

The world is burstling with flowers... both large and small....

Whare are the Rains? More Blue Sky....

Rain seems to have forgotten about our little heaven on Earth. No showers for the last few days. The sky is clear as crystal and puffy white clouds just sailing through the gorgeous blue.

We have new blooms also.... Sweet smelling pink roses....
